Internationalization, especially collaboration with Asian countries in industry is a promising way to keep the steady development. The partnerships with Asian countries, Europe and United States are indispensable. Lectures in English, internship in abroad, and exchange students from abroad are ways to breed an internationally open mind to students. Developing English skills of lecturers is also needed. The consortium aims for these activities.
Ochanomizu University and Tokyo medical and Dental University jointly-conducted to internationalize graduate education. Teaching scientific writing in English, delivering lectures of life sciences in English, and accepting students from abroad in a short term will internationalize research and education activities in both universities. We also send lecturers abroad and give them a chance to develop their skills to teach their specializing field in English. These activities are expected to be promoted in the consortium.
