Dr. Etsuko Fujita gave a lecture entitled "Artificial Photosynthesis
- present situation and future prospects"
Dr. Etsuko Fujita, Senior Chemist of Brookhaven National Laboratory,
gave a lecture entitled "Artificial Photosynthesis - present situation
and future prospects" on September 25, 2010 at Ochanomizu University,
Science Building No.3.
One of the possible approaches to solve the urgent energy issue is the
use of metal complexes. Students and teachers gathered in Room 701 of
Science Building No.3 had attentively listened to the lecture of Dr.
Fujita, one of the leading experts in this field.
Prior to the
lecture, prof. Kawamura, Vice President of Ochanomizu University gave
a short introductory speech on "University Education
Internationalization Promotion Program".
After the presentation, a tea party was hosted and lecture attendees
enjoyed talking with Dr. Etsuko Fujita on various issues from female
chemists in USA to studying abroad, and two hours passed quickly.
